This past weekend, we here at DentIndustry (along with  professionals from around the world!) converged on Corpus Christi, Texas for The 10th Annual International Mobile Tech Expo!

The event was held January 20–22, 2011 at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds.

The 2011 International Mobile Tech Expo moved out west this year, to Corpus Christi, Texas, bringing with it, PDR Dent and related industry specialists from around the world. They had contestants registering from Hong Kong, Japan, The Netherlands, Austria, France, Germany, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and Mexico, and that doesn't account for all the attendees!

One thing didn't change this year, The Expo had events for experienced Techs as well as new comers. Of course we made sure to catch the Dent Olympics contests, and dropped in on the contests for Leather Restoration, Glue Pull, Work Truck/Vehicle and Paint Competition. This was a special treat for me (the webmaster behind the curtain!) as this was the first time I've gotten to get a close up a PDR tech in action. Hats off to the techs, you call it PDR, it looked like magic to me!

The vendors displayed a huge array of new products and services this year. The variety of PDR tools on display was impressive to say the least! We had the opportunity to meet with suppliers, techs, other businesses, and really network with our industry peers. The location was great, and I wouldn't trade my dinner at the Waterfront Oyster Bar for anything!
